Throw - Receive |
2 Players |
The Thrower throws a ball towards feet of the receiver 3 m away. Receiver
plays ball back high to thrower.
Variation: Thrower hits ball and/or varies direction.
|
Throw - Receive with Sidewards Move |
3-5 Players |
Several throwers about three metres of each other and a receiver opposite
to the first thrower. First thrower throws Ball to receiver who digs ball
high back to thrower and moves sidewards to next thrower. Again he gets a
ball, plays it back and so on.
At the last thrower the receiver moves back the row of throwers.
The important thing is that the thrower need not wait until the receiver has
reached his position und on the other hand the receiver tries to move behind
the ball before playing. After ten repetitions one of the throwers becomes
the new receiver.

Throw - Receive with Rotation |
6-9 Players |
Four to five throwers about three metres of each other, a receiver, rest of
players waiting in a row next to last thrower. Every thrower has a ball. The
receiver gets the ball from each thrower one after another and digs it back
to the thrower. The thrower catches the ball, puts it on the floor and moves
one position towards the first thrower. The last thrower is replaced by a
player of the waiting cue, the first thrower becomes the new receiver and
the receiver goes to the end of the waiting cue. Important thing is to play
this drill really fast, but align it to the receiver. First thrower only
starts throwing if he is sure that all throwers are ready.
